Earlier this week, Folk Alliance International announced the nominees and recipients for the Best of 2024 and the International Folk Music Awards (IFMA). The awards ceremony will take place on the opening night of the 37th annual Folk Alliance International conference, set for Feb. 19-23, 2025, in Montréal. The event celebrates the creativity and contributions of folk artists, both emerging and established, from around the globe.

Alison Krauss and Union Station Announce First Tour in a Decade
In other exciting news, Alison Krauss and Union Station have announced their first tour in 10 years. The tour, titled Arcadia 2025, will feature dobro virtuoso Jerry Douglas and have Willie Watson as the opening act. The tour is set to cover 73 stops across the United States and Canada.
